jednym z moich ulubionych wyzwań w blogowym świecie jest "dziecko" Mrouh i Kasi Szkieukowej - Scrapowanie Codziennością.
raz w miesiącu bierzemy rzeczy absolutnie prozaiczne, które mijamy codziennie niewiele o nich myśląc - był makaron, mydło, zapałki, plastikowe butelki, herbata etc.
i nagle trzeba spojrzeć na nie świeżym okiem, uruchomić kreatywne zakamarki głowy i odkryć małe cuda codzienności.
polecam i zapraszam na Craft Imaginarium. w tym miesiącu bawimy się rolkami - po papierze toaletowym, ręcznikach papierowych, rozmaitych foliach itd.

one of my favorite challenges in Polish blogland is the idea of two of my friends - Scrapping The Everyday or: Scrapping The Reality.
once a month we are asked to have fun and create using something really ordinary from our lives, something that we don't usually pay to much attention to in our every day - things like pasta, soap, matches, plastic bottles, tea etc.
and suddenly you have to look at those things anew, use your creativity and find small miracles and beauty.
this month is about rolls - toilet paper, paper towels etc.
I used a paper towel roll as a background for the collage above. I just love its color and texture.

jakiś czasu temu w odpowiedzi na moje stwierdzenie, że kolekcjonuję wyłącznie dobre emocje usłyszałam (i trzeba zaznaczyć, że miało to zabrzmieć jak zarzut), że emocji się nie kolekcjonuje, tylko przeżywa.
zupełnie jakby jedno przeczyło drugiemu...
to, co miało być złośliwością, okazało się być kojące. bo dzięki temu doszłam do wniosku, że kolekcjonowanie emocji to jedna z rzeczy, które najbardziej lubię w życiu. że właśnie na tym opiera się cała moja sztuka.
więc nadal będę zbierać te dobre chwile i zamykać je w szufladkach mojej pamięci.
życie wtedy nie umyka i zupełnie inaczej smakuje, prawda?

some time ago I told somebody that I collect only good emotions. and then I was told (and it was meant to sound like an accusation) that one should not collect emotions but live them.
as if one contradicted the other...
what was supposed to be a caustic remark actually turned out to be soothing for me.
because that's when I realised that collecting emotions is one of my very favorite things in life. that this is the foundation of all my art.
so I will keep collecting all the good emotions and moments and put them into special drawers of my memory. thanks to that my life won't just go by with no meaning.
and it also tastes better this way, don't you think?

a teraz historyjka.
nie tak dawno dawno temu pewna niezwykła osoba, której ciepłem i energią można by ogrzać duże miasto spotkała się ze mną w Warszawie. dostałam taki oto prezent, który okazał się proroczy:

and now a short story. not a long ago I met with a very special person whose warmth and energy might warm a big city. first, she gave me this present which turned out to be prophetic: /the text on the bookmark/: "have a delicious time"

- - - gdyż po chwili stanęły przed nami dwa wielkie talerze pełne pysznych pierogów, a w torebeczce znalazłam to oto ciasteczko. :)

- - - after a while we were given two huge plates full of delicious traditional Polish dumplings and when I looked inside the blue bag I found there this handmade little cake. :)

w trakcie rozmowy zaczęłyśmy wyznawać co kryje się w naszych torbach i okazało się, że w mojej znajdują się klej i nożyczki (tak, tak... wiem, to się nazywa nałóg kolażowy) i coż nam pozostało, jak nie skleić małego szybkiego kolażu ze znalezionej gazety, który ( i tu kłania się zasada serendypii) idealnie oddał nastrój tego spotkania...

while we were talking we confessed what each of us had in her bag and it turned out that I found glue and scissors in mine (yes, I know... it's called a collage compulsion...).. what was there to do - we just had to create a quick collage from a found magazine. serendipity did its magic and the collage perfectly describes our meeting...

na koniec jeszcze dodam, że kolaż z początku powstał dzięki LaWenduli, która we wrześniu była moją partnerką w Wymianie Papierowej. a oto zaledwie część zawartości przewspaniałej koperty, która u mnie zawitała.
