to moja druga praca powstała na Czempińskim warsztacie prowadzonym przez Finn.

zadanie było jeszcze trudniejsze niż Potuszowane Paluszki, bo Creative Grunge jest znakiem firmowym Finnabair.

i znowu rozterka: jak zachować siebie? jak nie kopiować bezmyślnie niepowtarzalnego talentu Finn?

nie wiem na ile mi się to udało, ale miałam dziką przyjemność w nauce warstwowania tła. w cudowny sposób porzuciłam perfekcjonizm na rzecz rozczochrania i przypadku. ;)

this is my second piece that I created during Finn's class last weekend. this time it was all about Creative Grunge. and again I had the same dilemma as during Inky Fingers class: how to be myself? how not to mindlessly copy Finn's unique talent?
I don't know if I succeeded but I had enormous fun learning how to create such a great layering background.

Susan była moją partnerką w Wymianie Papierowej w edycji Fresh Start. słuszna nazwa.
wyobraźcie sobie Boże Narodzenie i urodziny w jednym.
wyobraźcie sobie, że nie macie w domu ani kawałka papieru czy jakichkolwiek przydasi. dzięki Susan mogłabym zacząć od zera.
a najbardziej niezwykłe było to, że nie chodzi nawet o samą ilość (a wierzcie mi, oszołomiona dosłownie usiadłam na podłodze) podarunków, ale też o niezwykłą umiejętność odgadywania o czym mi się od dawna marzyło. powtórzę: Czarodziejka!!!

Susan was my partner in Paper Swap exchange called Fresh Start. ah, ever so rightly.
imagine Christmas and birthday in one. imagine that you don't have a piece of paper or any embelishments whatsoever at home. thanks to Susan I could start a whole studio from scratch.
I was amazed but not only by the sheer amount (please, do believe me, I literally sat down on the floor. speechless.) of gifts but also by Susan's amazing ability of guessing my secret dreams.
I'll say that again: pure magic!!!

dziwaczka i lady - spotkanie/the eccentric and the lady - the meeting

i stało się.
oto efekt twórczego spotkania Dziwaczki i Wyrafinowanej Lady.
ponownie stanęłyśmy z Finnabair nad dziewiczym płótnem.
tym razem zniosłyśmy granicę (niejedną...) i stworzyłyśmy kolaż w pełni harmonijnej (!) współpracy.

Finn, kłaniam się głęboko i wyrafinowanie............

here's the result of yet another creative meeting with Finnabair.
this time we decided not to divide the canvas but jump right into a harmonious (as it turned out) artful cooperation.

to był nasz eksperyment. tematem był: brak tematu.
celem: zarzucenie wszelkiego myślenia i zdanie się na intuicję.
i oto efekt. 
łatwo odgadnąć kto stworzył którą stronę. ;)

Finn, dziękuję. mój podziw dla ciebie jeszcze się spotęgował.
to było niezwykłe przeżycie. pod wieloma względami. ale o tym we wtorek. ;)

a few days ago I had the privilege to create this collaborative canvas with one of my very favorite Artists - Finnabair.
it was our experiment. theme: no theme.
our goal: to stop thinking and just create. to follow our intuition.
and here's the result.
I can just tell you that it was a great moment for me to be next to Great Finn creating. :)

przypadek Sharon potwierdza powyższą tezę. koperta, którą od niej dostałam wypełniona była pięknościami... i już wiem, że z pewnością wykorzystam te skrawki, które według niej okazały się "nieudane".

in Sharon's case the whole "there are no mistakes" idea turned out to be true.
the envelope I got from her was filled with beauty and I'm more than certain that I will use all these bits that she considered "spoilt".
