po długich i emocjonalnych rozmowach z wewnętrznym krytykiem zebrałam w sobie odwagę i zaciągnęłam się na kurs (a właściwie kursY): 21 Secrets. pierwszy z nich prowadzi Carissa Paige, u której pozwoliłam sobie beztrosko chlapać farbami i cudownie nie myśleć...

powyżej zadanie, które polegało na przemalowaniu własnego zdjęcia. a że dziewczęciem bedąc zawsze marzyłam o rudych włosach - voila... ;)

after many emotional conversations with my inner critic I finally decided to take 21 Secrets. the first course I took is Following the Wild Winds with Carissa Paige. I let myself get my hands messy with paints, switched off rational thinking and just enjoyed the process. a LOT.
21 Secrets community is incredibly supportive and so friendly it takes my breath away.
I can't wait to see what happens next.

na widok tej strony mam zawroty głowy, a to z powodu cudownego minimalizmu, w którym tak ostatnio zasmakowałam. traktuję ją więc wyłącznie jako ćwiczenie i miłą okazję do pobawienia się farbami i kolorami.
to jedna z tych prac, które zrobiły się "same", bo też i na tej idei poniekąd zasadza się kurs Carissy. myślenie odłożyłam na półkę i jeden ze stempli, który miał służyć wyłącznie dodaniu głębi w tle, "sam" zamienił się nagle w moją Dzielną Wojowniczą Księżniczkę. zupełnie nie wiem jak i skąd. ;)

this page makes me really dizzy as lately I've been fascinated and kept creating minimalist collages which I utterly love. however, I treated this piece as an excercise and a chance to use some fun paints and simply enjoy the process and colors.
it's one of those pages that created "themselves" which is more or less the idea behind Carissa's course. I just put any rational thinking aside and suddenly one of the stamps that were supposed to create depth in the background turned "itself" into my Bold Warrior Princess. I just heard these words in my head and put them on the page. I still don't know how and why. ;)

if you ever visit Cracow, make sure you see this magical place. it's in really busy Krupnicza Street (very near the centre) but if you enter this "Strange garden" you may find it difficult to leave.

...my lovely blogland friends Cynka, Guriana & Michelle took me to their local flea market. a very dangerous place... I had to buy a vintage suitcase to fit all the books, papers and photos I bought...

in the evening, our ever so energetic Michelle made us dinner, poured a glass of red wine and distributed magazines and scissors and told us not to gossip but get down to some serious collaging. ;)
