mój wpis dla Urtiki. wymyśliłam koncepcję żurnala podróżnego i odbyłam sentymentalną wycieczkę do National Gallery w Londynie, wykorzystując plan galerii i rozmaitości zbierane przez lata. wiele wspomnień i emocji w tych stronach.

this is my entry in Urtica's art journal. I decided to create mock travel journal pages. it was a very moving sentimental journey for me. I used the plan of London's National Gallery and many ephemera collected over the years. so many memories and emotions in these pages.

my other entry was in Drycha's art journal themed: Macabre. I must admit that this theme certainly is not my cup of tea but I managed to create this spread using a 19th century Polish cautionary poem for children - it's about a little boy who didn't listen to his mother and would suck his thumb all the time. well...he shouldn't have...as one day there came a tailor with scissors and cut the boy's finger... terrible, right? hard to believe that anyone would seriously read such stories to kids...

oto mój wkład do właśnie rozpoczętej drugiej edycji wędrujących art żurnali. 21 niezwykłych kobiet rozsianych po całej Polsce, możliwość spotykania ich prac - bezcenne uczucie. przede mną kolejne wyzwania, wzruszenia i emocje.

mój żurnal jest poradnikiem z lat 70. przeznaczonym do zalterowania (pokraczne słowo, ale nikt jeszcze nie wymyślił nic lepszego po polsku). książka jest wypełniona bezcennymi radami. ;) postanowiłam zachować okładki nietknięte, bo ogromnie podoba mi się ta ilustracja.

I've just started another project - second edition of round robin art journals. me + 21 extraordinary ladies from all around Poland - it's a great feeling to be able to see their works "live", so many new challenges and emotions await...

my art journal is a book that I will ask my friends to alter. it's from the 70s and its title is: "Always Be Beautiful". it's filled with truly delicious tips, tricks and advice.
