the point is to go for a walk, look around, collect some lost objects and create something.

I love the idea of finding beauty in most unexpected/mundane places and objects. some time ago I created a large canvas using elements found in the street.

raz w miesiącu bierzemy rzeczy absolutnie prozaiczne, które mijamy codziennie niewiele o nich myśląc - był makaron, mydło, zapałki, plastikowe butelki, herbata etc.
i nagle trzeba spojrzeć na nie świeżym okiem, uruchomić kreatywne zakamarki głowy i odkryć małe cuda codzienności.

one of my favorite challenges in Polish blogland is the idea of two of my friends - Scrapping The Everyday or: Scrapping The Reality.
once a month we are asked to have fun and create using something really ordinary from our lives, something that we don't usually pay to much attention to in our every day - things like pasta, soap, matches, plastic bottles, tea etc.
and suddenly you have to look at those things anew, use your creativity and find small miracles and beauty.
this month is about rolls - toilet paper, paper towels etc.
I used a paper towel roll as a background for the collage above. I just love its color and texture.

Balladyna is a heroine of a 19th century Polish drama influenced by some of Shakespeare's plays.
it's a story of passion, crime and longing for power.
it's a story of an ordinary girl who will stop at nothing to achieve her desired goal.
Balladyna killed her sister while they were picking raspberries in order to win the heart of the king. a red mark on her forehead was a sign and a constant reminder of her crimes.
