jakiś czas temu na przemiłym spotkaniu w ScrapStudio stworzyłyśmy wspólnymi siłami notesy - każda z nas sypnęła garścią papierów, podzieliłyśmy się nimi grzecznie i na poczekaniu wyczarowałyśmy okładki używając do tego tekturowej teczki, którą ktoś miał w torbie.

ten notes to mój szkicownik, w którym chlapię i kleję bez ambicji tworzenia arcydzieł. to miejsce, żeby móc na luzie wypróbować nowe craftowe zabawki lub spontanicznie wrzucić to, co plącze się na biurku.

w tym duchu udekorowałam okładkę w trybie ekspresowym, co wpisuje się w świetne 20-minutowe wyzwanie na scrapkach. czasem dobrze jest wyłączyć nadmiar refleksji.

some time ago we had a really nice creative meeting in Scrap Studio - each of us brought her set of papers, we shared them with each other and put together lovely collaborative notebooks.

now it's my sketchbook in which I test new art supplies or simply act on a whim without too much thinking and analyzing. no pressure to create a masterpiece. ;)

spełniło się moje marzenie i mogłam wziąć udział w warsztacie szycia notesów, który Wolfann poprowadziła w Łodzi. dzięki nieskończonej cierpliwości Ani mogłyśmy stworzyć szalone zeszyty wypełnione najrozmaitszymi stronami. nie było to proste, ale z pewnością warte wysiłku. jeśli będziecie mieli okazję dostać się pod skrzydła Wolfann - skorzystajcie koniecznie!!!

and finally I made my dream come true - I took a bookbinding workshop with a very talented (and extremely patient) artist - Wolfann.

each of us created a "wild" notebook filled with all sorts of delicious papers - random bits and pieces, packaging papers, envelopes etc.

w Łodzi oddałam się również w zdolne ręce Anai, która kazała nam szarpać, tarmosić, brudzić i chlapać {do zapamiętania: nie zakładać białej bluzki na warsztat, w którym udział biorą distress stainy... ;) }. było cudnie i zdecydowanie za krótko. uprzedzam lojalnie, że przy najbliższej okazji rezerwuję sobie miejsce w pierwszym rzędzie przy Anai. ;)

it was a very productive day - my other blog friend - Anai - showed us how to tear, distress and stain papers and it was a truly great experience to let go of neat and tidy. {a mental note: DO NOT wear a white blouse to such a workshop... where was my head? ;)}
